About the Youth Policy Council
The Youth Policy Council is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young Canadians to actively participate in policy development and civic engagement. We serve as a platform where passionate students collaborate to research, discuss, and debate pressing policy issues that shape our nation's future.
Our mission centers on providing young voices with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to engage meaningfully with civic leaders and contribute to evidence-based policy discussions. Through our initiatives, we create real-world impact by bridging the gap between youth perspectives and policy-making processes.
The Youth Policy Council matters because we believe that informed, collaborative, and impactful civic engagement is essential for a thriving democracy. We are committed to ensuring that the next generation of leaders has a seat at the table when decisions are made that will affect their future.
